Job Summary:

EDGE3 is looking for a talented software engineer with tireless passion for technology, loves coding, and desires to work on next generation machine vision and AI products that are being rolled out in the automotive, smart home, and industrial logistics industries.  You will join our small, but extremely talented, smart and ambitious core engineering team.  Our organization is hard working, nimble, and we are proud of the entrepreneurial and egalitarian culture we’ve created.

As a software engineer, you are going to be working on a series of projects involving the development and creation of next-generation technology.  You will be expected to bring your own creative process to the table, become an expert in the technical aspects of our products, analyze high-level requirements, and then run a solid and precise execution of such requirements.

You are someone who is able to pick up an API or SDK in JAVA, C# or C++ and run with it with minimal guidance. Having the ability to be an independent learner, while still learning and sharing with everyone else.

Job Duties:

-Determines feasibility by defining the problem, requirements, and proposed solution.
-Demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
-Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
-Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.
-Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
-Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
-Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Experience We Like:

-Undergraduate computer science engineering degree
-Software Development Fundamentals – design, debugging, documentation, testing
-General Programming Skills
-Problem Solving
-Familiarity with the tech ecosystem
-Ability to quickly adapt and hustle to find ways to overcome any obstacles put in your way

Bonus Experience a plus

-Computer vision expertise
-Knowledge of OpenCV
-Hardware knowledge – our products are software that use customized hardware
-Early adopter of new technology and startups.
